Chapter 31 Night Of Deception
- When they got to the room, Alina's eyes widened in horror as she took in the small, dingy space. The peeling wallpaper and faded floral print bedspread seemed to mock her, a cruel reminder of how far they had fallen. The single, flickering light bulb cast eerie shadows on the walls, making the room feel even more oppressive.
- Alina's face contorted in anguish as she sat down on the bed, her body shaking with sobs. "What is happening to us?" she wailed, her voice cracking with desperation. "Everything was fine a few days ago, and now...now we're being treated like trash. You've been relocated to this...this shit hole, and me...the company will no longer accept me. She's ruined us. She's really done it this time."
- Mrs. Gella's face was etched with worry and fear as she bent down in front of Alina, holding her hands and trying to offer what little comfort she could. "Don't give up, Alina," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "We will get through this. We will get those things back. We will."
