• The news caster's voice was serious as she addressed the audience. "Breaking news, Alina Bancroft, the daughter of the wealthy and influential Bancroft family, has confessed to falsely accusing her step-sister, Eve, of stabbing her."
• The camera cut to a shot of Alina, looking somber and remorseful, as she spoke to the press. "I'm so sorry," she said, her voice trembling. "I was jealous of Eve, and I let my emotions get the better of me. I accused her of something she didn't do, and for that, I am truly sorry."
• The news caster's voiceover continued, "Alina was asked why she had accused Eve of stabbing her, and what had really happened that night. Her response was cryptic."
