Chapter 11 (Sidney's Pov)

• Sometimes I really wonder what is wrong with me? I mean look at me! I have found out about Michael’s engagement, but still when he wrote he loves me there was a whole flock of butterflies taking residence in my tummy.
• How much do I need to torture myself before my thick skull would finally realize it the definition of loving each other was different in our cases. I have loved him for a long time as something more than just my best friend, but never dared to act on it. Why? Because his definition was strictly friendly or in the best scenario it was a brotherly kind of love. But not the one I wished to get from him, romantic love.
• “Hey there sweetie. What’s going on? Why are you crying?” As you can guess I got lost in my thoughts there for a moment and I forgot I was home and not alone. So, dad found me in the doorway of my room while I berated myself inside my head for my stupidity and as it seems shed a few tears. If they were angry or sad ones, that I have no answer to, but they were there, nonetheless.
