• A couple of days later, Ambrose invited his brother, mom, my siblings, and his pack leaders to Italy where his father sent word his grandfather was dead. News spread fast of the terror he was inflicting, and the council wants to meet with Ambrose to finalize the kill code. We had no idea why until we arrived. It was approved for his valor in protecting his pack, and there was a huge fanfare over his arrival.
• We felt like dignitaries as a limo whisked us away to meet the council where they announced in an informal meeting he was going to be given the Godfather title at a party they were holding that evening. Due to things moving so quickly, they had no time to go over the formalities of pack leadership and would take care of those matters once Sable’s clan was taken down. His grandfather was dead, and his father wasn’t interested in taking his position, so it was up to us now to end this war.
