• When we landed in Las Vegas, she had so many questions about the world outside our pack. She was so excited she could barely contain it. I’m happy for her because being stuck in that pack without being able to experience the real world can be suffocating. After what happened with her parents, she needed hope to live her life again, and this has been an adventure she’s been taking head-on. Today in Florida, after a long shopping trip, was no different.
• As we roll up to my father’s beachside mansion, Foxy is looking out the window in her fox form. Like a happy puppy on its first ride in the car, her little face is out the window, letting the wind whip through her fur. It’s the most innocent and adorable thing I’ve ever seen, especially when she gets the zooms and runs across the seat from one side to the other. Once this war is over, I plan to show her the world and let her enjoy life as a wild fox should.
