• I’m nervous about this job to flush out my uncle. First I found out a backwoods crime organization had infiltrated our clan, a one-night stand resulted in a crazy she-wolf out for blood, then my best friend turned on me, and now I have to deal with my grandfather and his bastard offspring. And to top it off, all these crazy people are working together. I knew my grandfather had crime groups outside the family circles, but I had no idea how deep his corruption could be. No wonder my dad was ready for early retirement.
• We were lucky that Maggie had a fight scheduled because it gave us a reason to be in Las Vegas without being suspected by my shady uncle. Foxy and I have been trying to keep our distance from each other, and not letting on that we are back together in case anyone we know sees us.
