• Things went great when I met Ambrose’s family. They’re so supportive and had so many questions from me about being wild. His brother was especially excited knowing he wasn’t the only shifter who had trouble shifting. I think it made him feel special, and he is. Of course, I lived as a tamed creature, so their questions were hard to answer, but I still remember a little about those days living in the cottage out west.
• We shared stories and Ambrose’s father was so thankful for me handling his half-brother. He told me he just didn’t have the courage to do it himself, and wished he would have years ago. I think had he known what he’d been doing behind the scenes, he would have done the same thing I did.
