Chapter 62
- ~Ambrose~
- When I heard the news she was found, I rushed to get to Damon’s home, finding him just arriving and Foxy was heading inside. Her hair was tangled with leaves and twigs clumped in the matting, and her skin was covered in mud, only wearing a jacket. The sight of her tore me apart. My wolf felt the same because I heard him whimper with sadness, and I felt a yearning to comfort her.

Foxy had been missing for hours, and my guards lost track of her not long after she ran through a creek by her home. She must have followed it toward the river to throw off the trace of her scent.
