• The doctor said as he left the room, Liam closed his eyes, he hated to be back in the hospital, hated that he was sick again, and wished this was nothing huge like he feared.
• Shortly after the doctor left, two nurses came to help him out of the room, they first took him to the laboratory to get his blood drawn and then to the MRI center, he didn’t see Mark and just assumed that he left to get back to work, it felt lonely sitting alone while waiting for his turn, but then his parents arrived right before he was met to enter, the doctor must have briefed them before they got to the hospital because they didn’t talk loud or ask him many questions, his mom just held his hands tight while his dad stood in the corner watching them.
