Chapter 180

• The first day of work wasn’t all rosy because he hated to start anew but what choice did he have? Since he had to resume work almost immediately he knew it won’t take time for him to adapt, and the fact that he had worked with them a couple of times before, he took his bath early in the morning as he didn’t want to go to work on his first day late, it felt odd because even though this was it his first time working in Cal, it was still his first time as a full staff here.
• Jordan arrived at work only a few minutes past seven and there were already a lot of people in the building, he was used to this too because he has seen a lot when he comes here for a working visit, and he got a warm welcome from his new coworkers and that’s how his day started, he mixed working with his team in New York and found himself calling out their names a few times when he wanted to ask a question, but lunch he already had two meetings and a bunch of editing and redesigning to do, he didn’t even spend up to ten minutes on break during lunch hours and came back to continue his work, he had another minute right before closing and even though he worked throughout the day, he still had a lot to do the next day, he was complaining though.
• The week went by pretty much the same for him, every day, he woke up, prepare and go to work, spend the whole day doing one thing or the other and come back home exhausted and just fall to bed to sleep, sometimes, he doesn’t bother to take a bath or eat dinner, other time, he managed to bathe.
