Liam stared at the man in front of him, he wasn’t even smiling but Liam felt his heart race, maybe it was the alcohol in the cake he took, since he wasn’t a drinker, anything could make him tipsy, or probably the glass of wine he had before he started eating, whatever it was, it wasn’t doing him any good, he should have stayed away from anything that contained alcohol, or he should have not shown up here in the first place, but how was he supposed to know that the man would be here and that he will be affected by him? No way for him to have known that, why was he looking at him too, and with those longing eyes, it made it impossible for him to look away and everything else in the room faded away and it was just them, looking at each other with his heartbeat increasing by the seconds.

His mom asked, touching him and shaking him out of his trance, he broke eye contact with Jordan and looked at his mom, forcing a smile.
