• I run through options in my mind, my link with Daisy open so she can hear what I am thinking. I could offer her the chance to leave and live, I could banish her, I could lock her up, but none of it seemed right, none of it felt right. How could I do that to the mother of my child? What would I tell my pup about their own mother? Would she even agree to leave the child behind?
• Of course she would, she is selfish, a pup would only slow her down, but, I know you don’t want to hear this, but, I don’t think we could trust her if we let her go, she would always be a risk to us, even without Ace around.
