• Goddess! I don’t know what to do. Dave has just left with Jack, excited and eager to meet his mate, and from what he tells us, she is indeed here, and if I understood correctly, which I'm pretty sure I did, well then, I know exactly who his mate is. One of my main tormentors…. Maddie. Thinking back, she did always act entitled, like she knew her and Ace were destined, she was so sure of herself and her position in this life. Like she knew some secret nobody else did. Was this the secret, the vision given to her father of her becoming Luna of a pack thanks to a Beta? But I can't believe she didn't know exactly what she was doing every single time she tormented me. I mean, this chick gave me freaking nightmares, she starved me, beat me, encouraged others to do the same, she body shamed me, by the time escaped Twin Lakes pack, she as much the demon I was running from as Ace was.
• But now what do I do? I can't very well let Dave run off into the sunset with her without knowing who she really is, but on the other hand, what if finding Dave changes her. People do change when they find their true mates, that is a part of our nature, we can't help it, but what if she never confesses the truth, I don't think I could stand being in the same room as her, pretending everything is a-okay, but not seeing her will also be impossible, Jack and Dave are like brothers, the packs are, for all intents and purposes, merging, there is no way I will be able to avoid her. I can't talk to Daisy about this, it will cause a rift between them that the pack will not survive, I will have to talk to Jack, he will know what to do. I won't say a word to Dave about her until then. But that does mean I'm going to have to hide away while they are still here.
