• I woke up early despite what we did last night. I watched Theana as she slept soundly. I caressed her hair and kissed her temple before getting out of bed. I was only wearing sweatpants. I also fixed the blanket that was wrapped around Theana's body. When I saw how angry my marks are on her skin, I grinned.
• I left the room to let Theana rest. I went to the kitchen to think about what breakfast I should make. I had a strong feeling that she would have a hard time moving, so I needed to make her something when she wakes up. I found some bacon and eggs in my fridge. There's also pancake mix, so I started cooking.
