Chapter 45

• She was in her element, her passion shining through in everything she did. And as the sun began to set, she finally took a moment to catch her breath, to appreciate the day that had been.
• She stripped and took her bath. She put on clean pyjamas and laid on the bed. Then she began to think of everything that had happened so far. How she ended up being where she was currently.
• Bridget was grateful for so many things. Grateful for Jerome, for Mama Lucy, for all the kindness and support they had shown her. Grateful for the friends she had made, and for the opportunities she had been given. And most of all, she was grateful for the chance to start over, to build a new life for herself.
