Chapter 3

• "Don't I have the right to get mad? Look at what you did back there. You seduced them."
• "I didn't do exactly seduce them. Okay? I can believe you are raising a voice at me because of what I did back there. I just compelled them. We don't have to fight them and even when they try to pull out an attack against us? It will be too late for them because we have more warriors than them. It's just like two against one."
• Bridget tried to make up a point. But because of jealousy, Williams didn't want to forget what had happened. He just couldn't forget what happened.
• That could have been him. He thought. He wished he was the one she was touching that way. When Bridget saw that she couldn't calm him down, she went into the bathroom and stripped off her clothes. She got into the jacuzzi and she took her bath.
• She wanted to wash herself off.
• Williams couldn't calm himself. He went out of the room immediately.
• While Bridget on the other hand came out of the bathtub with a towel wrapped around her body. Her hair was dripping wet with water. She knew those horrible people won't come back anytime soon and even though they would come back, they would have gotten ready for them. That was all Bridget thought.
• She promised herself never to apologize to Williams first. Because in the first place, she saw no reason for him to get mad. Not as if they touched her. She didn't take things too far. Even others were amused by her action.
• They were proud of her, especially Alpha Walter.
• Bridget put on a red nightie that exposed her cleavage and her ass cheek was out too. She covered herself with a matching night jacket long enough to cover herself up. Then she went downstairs. Everyone was already downstairs.
• Dinner was already served and she was glad that they were all eating. Different varieties of food were prepared. Meats, salad, cheesecakes, waffles, rice balls and so on.
• Williams's mother smiles upon seeing her daughter-in-law. She was happy when she heard the news.
• While they ate, they praised her and Williams couldn't stop looking at her. Even though their eyes met, she looked away immediately. She didn't want to look at him at all. All she wanted was for her to eat and go to sleep. It has been such a long day.
• "I am proud of you, Bridget." Alpha Walter said.
• "Me too. Who could have thought those bastards only needed a few tricks to get them off the hook? We are ready for them when they come back." Williams's mother said.
• "She is so cool," Jake said and smiled at her.
• As everyone talked at the dining table, Williams didn't. He just directed his eyes at his mate. Bridget almost choked as he gazed at her. She couldn't take it anymore.
• Then she dropped her fork immediately on the plate and she pushed the chair to the back and she got up.
• "Excuse me, I want to have some fresh air." She said and she went out to the balcony. As she stood there and looked at the city view. The tall buildings. She felt more attracted to them. As the cool wind hit her skin, she exhaled and she packed her hair in a bun. A cute bun that Williams couldn't take his eyes off her.
• Of course, he has excused himself from the dining room to meet her on the balcony.
• As she was about to turn back, he hugged her from behind aggressively and she noticed.
• "Don't touch me! Get off me!" She told him but he didn't listen until she eventually pushed his rigid body away from her.
• "So you are not going to even let me touch you? So you enjoyed what you did back there? Is that what you are telling me?"
• "You know what? I smell jealousy. Why can't you?"
• "Who said anything about jealousy?" That was from Williams.
• "It's so clear in your eyes. You are jealous." Bridget voiced out.
• "Because I don't see why you are getting mad at me in the first place. I only did what I have to do and you are turning it into another thing entirely." Bridget added.
• "No, I am not." That was from Williams.
• "Yes, you are," Bridget replied.
• "No, I am not."
• "Yes, you are."
• "No, I am not."
• "Yes, you are."
• They didn't realize they were yelling at each other. Sienna, Daniella, Jake, Williams's mother, The twins, and Liam were watching them. They began to wonder what happened between the two of them. But Liam knows what exactly happened.
• "What is happening between them? Why are they both arguing?" Sienna whispered.
• "How am I supposed to know?" That was from Jake.
• Bridget moved closer to Williams like she was about to hit him.
• "Ma'am. If we don't stop them they are going to rip their heads off each other." Liam said and got in between the two of them.
• "Stop! Why are you two arguing?" Williams's Mom got in between them holding them apart.
• "It was his fault."
• "It was her fault."
• They both said simultaneously using different pronouns pointing at each other. Jake was about to burst into laughter but held himself. He knew those two would surely fight. Their little fight.
• "What now? Aren't you going to apologize?" Bridget fired back at Williams not caring if he was the Alpha.
• "I deserve some apologies too. I. Am. Your. Alpha." William blurted.
• "And I. Am. Your. Luna." Bridget blurted out too. She would stand her ground and would not change.
• "You two get yourselves together and stop throwing tantrums like children." Williams's mother intervened.
• "I am trying to understand him Mom but he is proving stubborn. He is the one trying to cause chaos between us. I am tired and I don't have time to argue with him. I will just go to bed. Good night Mom." Bridget said and walked away.
