• The day before Summer Mayhem was a day of meet-and-greets, interviews, and charity promotions. Candy loved visiting the local hospital the most and remembered most of the doctors and nurses from her brother’s treatments.
• A nurse ran to Candy as she walked in the door, saying excitedly, “Candy Smith! I’m so glad to see you.”
