Chapter 83

• It was Monday evening and Slade and Candy had made it to the arena early to talk to Davis before the show. As they pulled into the parking area behind the building, a group had gathered with security surrounding Davis. Candy stretched her neck to see what was going on and as the crowd moved around, she saw Gage sitting on the curb with a gash on his forehead and Isis crying, trying to help stop the bleeding. A man near them was on the ground, being held down by Colt and a security guard.
• “What is going on?”
• Candy and Slade jumped from their company SUV and went to the crowd to get a better look. As soon as they got close, Candy’s mouth dropped open, and she tried to run from the scene.
