Chapter 30

• The next day, Isis was sitting in her hotel room listening to music on her phone when a knock came at the door. Life on the road seldom gave them much free time. She was waiting for someone from Justice to come get her for the show, as they always did. She had put her ring gear together and was ready for her first match with her new friend, Candy.
• It was her debut, and they expected not much to happen. Still, they were excited to get her first match in the IWX ring. Candy had gone over some basic things with her to get Isis ready for the match. They had become good friends, and Candy was one of the few who understood what it was like to deal with an overbearing man. Candy had her troubles with a guy backstage, and his clique of ego-driven buddies were driving her insane.
• Isis realized that her first match must have been what Gage meant by reward. She had worked hard to be by his side the day he was injured, and this was her reward.
