Chapter 88

Candy, Slade, and Colt were on the plane to Miami for the opening of Summer Mayhem weekend. Two days until one of the biggest events of the year.
Candy had pushed her emotions aside so she could focus on getting through this weekend. Seeing her father made her realize that maybe leaving IWX was for the best now. Come Monday morning, she would talk to Davis and take a break from being a wrestler, until she could figure out what to do to help her mother, and deal with her home life. Meanwhile, she wanted to spend as much time with Slade as possible.
Slade watched as Candy bit at her fingernails. She looked in deep thought as she tapped her other hand on the armrest.
