Chapter 139

• Holly tried to not laugh as Candy’s best friend Sahara cringed at the sight before them. She would occasionally gag and try to cover her face. Isis, Holly, and Sahara had been in the hospital room visiting when Candy’s baby decided it was time it wanted to be born. Just as they were ready to exit the room, the doctor and nurses rushed in, trapping them against a back wall in the small room. The baby was coming fast and stuck there during the birth. Isis and Holly were excited to be there. Sahara wanted no part of it.
• Slade was holding Candy’s hand as she pushed. He was already looking like he was getting a little pale and dizzy.
• “Ouch! I think she’s breaking my hand.” Slade grimaced.
