Chapter 52 The Unveiled Problem
- Hazel and Theo exited Grandma Vivian's room with slow steps. Both looked physically and emotionally drained after witnessing their grandmother’s condition, her body covered in wounds. In the silent hallway, they exchanged glances. Their breaths were heavy, as though carrying an unspoken burden.
- “I still can’t understand what happened to your grandmother. How could she get injured like that?” Theo broke the silence in a low voice, slowly turning the wheels of his chair.
- Hazel glanced at Theo briefly, trying to maintain a calm expression despite the turmoil in her mind. She matched her pace with Theo’s wheelchair before answering, “I don’t know either. Maybe Grandma just hasn’t been getting enough rest, and that’s why she ended up like this,” she replied casually, her tone almost flat.
