Chapter 31 After The Misunderstanding Last Night
- Hazel woke up slowly, feeling the warmth of the morning sun streaming through the bedroom curtains. The gentle warmth made her feel comfortable, but there was something different this morning. There was a sensation circling in her stomach, and when she opened her eyes, she smiled unintentionally. The smile spread naturally, as if it couldn’t be stopped. She turned to look behind her, seeing Theo still sound asleep next to her. His eyes were tightly shut, his body seemed relaxed, and the room felt peaceful.
- Hazel felt as though the world stopped spinning for a moment. She was about to get up from bed, but something bigger made her realize something. She realized she wasn’t wearing any clothes, and neither was Theo. At that moment, her mind went back to what had happened the night before. Hazel paused for a moment, trying to recall the details of last night. She hadn’t left the room at all with Theo. No one disturbed them, nothing was urgent. In fact, all night long, Theo kept her company and persuaded her, causing them to get carried away by the moment.
- Her heart raced, and her body felt a little awkward. She held the blanket tightly, covering her body. Hazel’s cheeks turned red instantly. This was the first time she could feel such closeness with her husband. There was a feeling that enveloped her body, a sense of calm she had never felt before. The usual fear she felt was completely absent. Instead, there was a sense of safety and comfort that covered her feelings from last night.
