Chapter 59 Agreement Of Alpha
- "Although I'm not familiar with their names, I believe that a witch or witches tied her. Nobody else possesses that level of authority. " That is why I am asking you." Devon gives a headshake. "Alpha Dane, I'm not sure what you want me to say. However, no mention of a witch or witches was made. Trey put a lot of effort toward hiding that pack from other types. He refused to let anyone in. "What do you mean by that?" Alpha Dane insists "Whoever bound her when she was a child would be the same one who bound her as an adult." "Do...do you know who he is talking about?" Silently, I ask Alpha Dane. Perhaps that's why he was acting strangely toward me.
- "Not yet." Alpha Dane murmurs, He extends his hand toward the steps. "Come, it's time for your lesson with Klaus." "A lesson? Oh, are you fighting, or what are you practicing? Devon's hands wrap around the bars as he asks. "Is Klaus also a good-looking man? Seeing the same faces down here gets a little monotonous. "Reading lesson." I mumble, not really thinking about it. "It's about time someone taught you to read and write." "What...what did you say?" For so long, I had kept it a secret. Raven worked it out. I had never informed anybody else about it until I blurted it out to Alpha Dane.
- Devon withdraws back against the wall without saying anything. "Answer her?" Dane Alpha growls. "It's nothing." "How... how did you know that?" "My person on the inside told me." Alpha Dane was aware that I disliked discussing it. He was aware that I could never possibly tell someone else. In reality, I just learned to identify items without reading the labels, despite Trey's belief that I could read. "Your story is starting to slip, Devon." In front of his cage, Alpha Dane walks back and forth. "I knew there was something off with you."
