Chapter 103 Agreement Of Alpha

  • I had been scared to move. scared of becoming like the beast that preyed on the group. However, as I stand here over the lifeless Lycan, I realize how liberating it felt. Footsteps rush in our direction. Klaus and Alpha Dane show up. The dead Lycan is the first thing they see. As their gazes return to me and they notice that I am just wearing a jacket, neither of them says anything. "You shifted?" Klaus asks softly. "Fully?" I stay put. The Raven splutters, "She did." "She shifted, and she killed him without hesitation." "Jenson?" Alpha Dane asks, averting his gaze from me to gaze at his brother, who is comatose.
  • Raven tells me the same thing again. "Klaus, help Raven take him to the hospital." He replaces the jacket Raven gave me with his own shirt as soon as they're gone. This time, it was longer and barely touched my thighs. I tilt my face up to see him while his finger rests beneath my chin. "You enjoyed it, didn't you?" I was reluctant to say yes. I had never felt stronger, but I didn't want to tell him. I didn't want to explain that if it made me as happy as I had just felt, I would murder the Lycan a hundred times over.
  • I was reluctant to tell him the truth. His hot, minty breath grazes my skin as his lips brush against my face. "Yes, it is not required of you. I'm able to read your thoughts. Moving away from me, he seizes the Lycan by the ankles and pulls it through the trees and over the ground. "Where...where are you taking him?" "I have to let him go. They cannot be allowed to trash my area of the forest. Alpha Dane promptly sets the body on fire as I follow him through the forest to a clearing. It rapidly catches fire. The air is rapidly ripened by the smell of burning meat.
