Chapter 77

• “Are you okay?” I asked while I ran towards the house but all she could do was shiver and wince from time to time. I could tell that she was hurt. Something was wrong with her.
• The rain increased while I tried to avoid falling on the bad road. Why had she gone through this road? This road had been abandoned for years and no one lived around here. I ran on and on until I got to the forest I had gone through.
• I could not take her through the damp forest road as it was dangerous. It was used as a shortcut only for rare occasions because of its dangerous conditions.
