• “You know what? Starve,” I said, walking out of her room as she laughed while calling me back. I turned to see her gesturing for me to help her into the wheelchair. “One more snotty remark from you and I swear I’ll kick away your chair.”
• “And here I thought you loved me,” I gave her a nasty side eye which had her raising her hands up. “I didn’t say anything nasty. Come on. I’m hungry here.”
