Chapter 69 Alex Claims Zane

• Alex PoV:
• My heart aches. I lay my head on Zane's broad shoulder and we stay like this in silence for a while. I know what he is sharing with me is heavy for him to talk about. I can tell from his tortured tone and the long pauses in between his long monologues. I am almost certain he has never told anyone all this before. It makes my heart ache terribly for him. But I don't want to cry. It would only embarrass him. So I blink back the tears and stay quiet. He will speak up when he is ready again.
