Chapter 14 A Loophole

• I took a deep breath as the car drove past the large iron gates. The familiar scent of a home hit me hard as I took a long look at the large house in front of me.
• I felt a little bit strange to be away from where I grew up for a period longer than a week, but I was no longer a Salvatore anymore.
• The car pulled to a stop and the door was opened by a guard standing outside, I nodded briskly as he bowed slightly.
