Chapter 12 The Devil's Workshop

• There was nothing for me to do today after Alessandro angrily stormed out of the house after the little argument we had that morning.
• We hadn’t yet discussed what my roles would be in his mafia and technically, we were supposed to be on our honeymoon but Alessandro had a ton of engagement here in the mafia that needed his attention.
• The threat being posed by his step-brother, Donovan, had only grown despite our marriage and he was trying to nullify the threat completely. My best guess was that the only reason Donovan wasn’t in chains and being held in some remote location off the coast of some island was because he shared the same blood with Alessandro.
