Chapter 11 Silence!

• The rays of sunlight seeped through the slightly opened curtains and fell across my face, forcing me to open my eyes.
• I shielded my eyes with my palm as I turned to the other side of the bed and glanced at the digital clock on the bed stand, it was 9:45 AM. I’d overslept again—if you could say that.
• For the past couple of days, Alessandro and I had done nothing but have sex at every given moment. I couldn’t remember the last time we had a proper conversation and for the life of me, I didn’t mind. We would have the time to talk later but our wants had to be satisfied before anything else.
