Chapter 62
- As I was going through the boxes that held my belongings—which I was realizing weren’t things I wanted to keep, or needed to. Most of it held memories I thought I had needed to be strong and remember who I was. I wasn’t that person anymore, and I was coming to terms with that. Mostly in a good way.
- Crissy came running out. “Victor needs me for a minute. I’ll be back to get my bag and the lists.” She nodded and opened the device on her wrist then vanished.
- Alona came out looking distraught. “I don’t think there is anyway to salvage it.” She stopped and stood there with her hands on her hips. “How are you making out?”
