- His mouth was beside my ear, as he reached to shift my upper body. “Don’t be sorry for that. It’s what makes you who you are.” Sitting up, he leaned down to gently lift my leg to follow the rest of me. “I like who you are.” He said so quietly I wasn’t sure he’d actually said it.
