• "You don't even know how I became Chief, do you?" Eileen spat, her anger evident. "Do you think they just hand out the title to anyone? I've worked hard to earn my position, and I won't let some insolent Omega like you question my worthiness."
• I was still holding my face in pain, looking up at Eileen with a mix of shock and defiance. "I don't know how you got to be Chief, but I do know that being one requires a lot. And from what I've seen, you're lacking in those areas."
