• Dylan’s POV
• Sibel looked at me, and I knew instantly she could see right through me. She always could, somehow. She tilted her head, studying me, her expression soft but firm. “Dylan,” she said, her voice calm yet filled with a determination that only made my worry grow. “I don’t want to leave. I want to stay here, with you. I want to fight with you.”
• Her words hung in the air between us, heavy and solid. And I felt something tighten in my chest. Sibel wanting to stay—part of me wanted that too, more than anything. But the other part, the part that knew how dangerous things had gotten, just wanted to keep her safe, away from all this madness.
