Chapter 43 Inexplicable Red Hair

• Esthela jumped to her feet and ran to the mirror on the side of the room, unable to believe her own eyes. Her hair was a unique, bright red! When had she done such a thing? She closed her eyes and opened them again, but the colour remained unchanged. Her friends approached her upon seeing her reaction.
• "Girls, I think I'm going crazy. I can't remember dyeing my hair!" she exclaimed, visibly confused and speaking very quickly while pacing in front of her friends who stood aside. "I arrived last night with the children, talked to Dad, he gave me the letter. Then I took a bath and went to bed. And now I've just woken up; I didn't dye it, I swear! I didn't do it!"
• Esthela's friends stared at her blankly. How could she not remember dyeing her hair? She would have had to bleach it first, which takes time to achieve the bright red she now had. It must have taken at least two hours.
