Chapter 20 Farewell

• Hearing her mention them, Prince Erick and his friend Oryun become visible. Lotha hides Esthela behind his body. He can sense that they are not human, but says nothing because he feels no threat.
• "It's all right, Lotha, relax," he says, running to meet him, "Erick, this is my brother Lotha. He's the one who brought me here." And when he sees Leoric who is barely breathing, "Leoric! Can you do something for him? I think he's going to die."
• Erick nods and prepares to wrap Leoric in his healing dragon energy, but Lotha interrupts him. He cuts his hand with a knife and begins to smear Leoric with his blood, at the same time murmuring some unintelligible words that make Leoric, upon contact with the light emanating from his forehead, turn green and refulgent. With astonishment they see how Leoric begins to heal until he opens his eyes and when he sees Lotha, he takes his hand.
