Chapter 35 Called

Prince Erick looked at his grandfather, frightened at the thought that, because of his recklessness in wanting to connect the human, Esthela, to him, he might have hurt her. The old dragon regarded his grandson before questioning him further, to explain the situation.
"What exactly happened, Erick?" asked the old dragon in a calm but worried voice. "I need you to tell me all the details so I can understand what happened."
Erick looked down, feeling guilty for what he had done. He really wanted to keep his human, but he had no desire to hurt her. So, after explaining in more detail what he had done, he asked his grandfather again.
