Chapter 230
- Working all day and from very early on with an intense headache that felt like needles pulsating in his temples, was the punishment for having exceeded his limits with alcohol. He had always been a heavy drinker, so he avoided it, until the night before.
- The tranquility of his space plus the ideas that had crowded his brain had made relaxation necessary, and unintentionally, he had ended up consuming a bottle of exquisite wine that had been given to him as part of a product sample. Waking up with shaky legs, a dry and rough throat like sandpaper, and a massive stomach ache made him realize it hadn't been such a good idea.
- He vaguely remembered his mental wanderings of the night, although he resolved not to think until he had at least drunk three coffees that morning. That ration was surely what he needed to function.
