Chapter 151 The Wedding

  • The church was in a small and picturesque village north of Birmingham, it was the fifteenth of December, snowing and cold. Ares had bought her a beautiful and simple red dress. The priest and his aunt Katherine were waiting on the side of the altar.
  • That morning, Ares had sent his limousine to pick her and her aunt Katherine up from their home, to drive them to the small town where the wedding was going to take place. Hanah had agreed to marry thanks to the intervention of her aunt, who told her to face things and stop running away. But her only condition was that the ceremony be held in England, just the two of them without anyone else. Hanah did not want to go through the fuss of parties, meetings, or anything that would involve a wedding, because she knew it was not a real bond. Ares just wanted to clean up his illustrious surname, and Hanah just wanted him to leave her alone, she wished it would all end.
  • "Today I am getting married." This is my wedding day. She repeated to herself in disbelief. She couldn't get that man out of her thoughts for a moment, whenever she fell asleep his image and his bright green eyes would disturb her dreams.
