• Stella wondered if Dolores took her word for it. "Leave it to me," said the latter, taking over the insulating bucket. “You are welcome to go upstairs and rest." Then she went into the kitchen.
• Stella felt a little sleepy now as she didn't get much sleep the night before. She headed upstairs, yawning. It was six o'clock in the evening when she finally woke up. She noticed the evening glow filling the entire sky when she woke up.
• When Stella came downstairs, Dolores wasn't in the kitchen. When she looked next door, Evelyn wasn't there either. Other than them, the few residences in the area were quiet while they prepared dinner.
