Chapter 14

• With a gentle push, Stella moved Horace to the side. She laughed dryly and began to explain, saying, "Nothing is going on here. We are just chatting away; he is one of my old friends. I believe I should leave if there is nothing here that worries me."
• Stella hardly had time to take a few steps before someone grabbed her wrist. She was reacting quickly, pretending to throw up right away. That hand came back to itself right away.
• Stella had made her escape at an astonishingly rapid pace. Sherry was listening to music in the car with her eyes closed when all of a sudden the door opened. It wasn't too lengthy at all!
