• He called for Nathan from outside after a while, saying, "Go ask Francis about this. Look into what was happening at the time."
• "Roger." Nathan walked out, his head hung low. All he knew at the moment was that Stella needed money, which was why he had purposefully set up a trap. He was unaware, though, that there had been a few incidences before to that. It was highly possible that Stella's intervention in his life wasn't a coincidence if she had known that the Conrad family was funding the new designer competition.
• A few waiters were getting ready for shift change at the Twilight Club's rest area. "Hey, I saw Vivian coming in just now," exclaimed one of them. “She seemed to be coming here rather frequently."
