• Clarence was fiddling with his phone while seated on a chair and had an odd look on his face. The woman inquired about Nathan's meal consumption at this moment, as if she had some sort of conscience. He looked at his phone and then at the clock. He tapped his temples with two thin fingers while he stared at the phone number on the screen.
• He heard knocks on the door just as he was ready to pick up the phone. Setting down his phone, Clarence grabbed up a pen and document. His countenance straightened, and he said, "Come in."
