Chapter 171

• Robert braced himself in the car as Malachi drove to the edge of town. He was going well over the speed limit and the Navigator skidded to a halt on the dirt road some few yards away from the warehouse.
• “Kiran!”
• By the time Robert opened his door Malachi was already running and it took him a few seconds to see Kiran stumbling out of the warehouse. Kiran slumped forward, hitting his head on a rock just as Malachi reached him.
