• Vincent bristled and he sneered as he looked at me. I knew I could take him but I didn’t want to make a scene ten minutes into our arrival at Teeven’s gathering. This was not my territory and assaulting the Alpha’s son might not go down that well.
• “You dare speak to me like that, in front of my pack?” His anger was more evident now and Teeven stood up and looked at Vincent.
• “Perhaps you can settle it with a little fight challenge?” I nodded my agreement at Teeven’s suggestion and Vincent sat back down. He was of average height and he was skinny, there was no muscle that I could see.
