• Malachi didn’t say anything the next morning or the days after that. Karani’s message had been intended for all of us but he hadn’t yet shared his thoughts on it with me. Christian seemed to have forgotten the whole ordeal as well.
• We had no idea who the wolf in sheep’s clothing could be but I knew that we’d find out sooner or later. Our routine had gone back to normal and Christian was flourishing in school. Adara had enrolled in her herbalism classes and she studied during the day when we were at work.
