• Sonia stared at her little piece of treasure again. Ever since she woke up, got checked and took her necessary vitamins, her eyes hadn't left Star for a minute. She looked so beautiful and amazing.
• Holding out her little hand as she slept, Sonia felt a teardrop on her daughter's shawl. Now she understood the feeling their mother must have had when she birthed Edwina. Why she was always so protective of Edwina. There was no way she would let any harm befall Star. She would rather fight till her last breath.
