• I paced the doorway back and forth, trying to listen in on what was going on. I was supposed to be in the room serving as a support system for my sister when she needed me the most, but instead, I was about to pass out myself.
• For four days straight, Sonia has been experiencing contractions that go back and forth. The nurse assigned to watch her all through the time had been replaced by another person, as they didn't expect it would take that long for her water to actually break.
