• Digging his paws into the soil, Caleb growled. He had no idea what the dinner was all about. But one thing was certain; even if it would take his life, he would never let Carlos be with Becca. It might sound selfish, but he doesn't care.
• Caleb had driven back to his house like a raging bull, parking the car wrongly. Rather than head back into the house, he headed straight for the woods running as fast as his legs could carry him far into the woods. He had no idea what he was thinking of. Seeing Becca made his heart clench, and he couldn't gather enough courage to speak to her.
